Character Journey
The main character, Chris, struggles with deep-rooted family issues of self-worth that prevent him from taking responsibility in starting a family. Meanwhile, his girlfriend's father, Maddox, disapproves of Chris as a match for his daughter and attempts to sabotage their relationship through nefarious means.
Meanwhile, Alessa keeps her pregnancy a secret upon realizing that a supernatural entity grows inside her belly, which Maddox plans to sacrifice for his own selfish reasons. In order to survive the ordeal, the couple must find a way to overcome Maddox's plans and heal their own personal trauma in order to move forward as a family.
